HH Conrad z

Conrad was purchased in 2015 after an extremely successful partnership with Gregory Whatlet, including 5* grand prix wins and an individual silver medal at the European Championships in 2014. Quentin took over as the rider in 2015, and together, they have formed a very successful partnership. The team placed in numerous grands prix, including 6th in the 1.55m Prix Suez at CSI5* Dinard and 4th in the CSI5* Wellington among other top finishes from the Hampton Classic to Spruce Meadows. Beyond his accomplishments in the show ring, Conrad’s beautiful looks, elasticity, and level head make him an exciting breeding stallion. After a wonderful career boasting chapters across the globe, HH Conrad Z embraced a new chapter last year and joined Stud farm Zangersheide’s star stables in Lanaken. He was born in the renowned Van Witt breeding stud in Germany and as a youngster was purchased by Xavier Marie, the owner of Haras de Hus who gave him his first name Conrad de Hus. Grégory Wathelet and Michel Robert guided him through his first experiences at international level. With Grégory, there was a special click and the pair advanced to the absolute top. Together they won the Nations Cup final in Barcelona, de LGCT GP of Chantilly, the Nations Cup in St. Gallen and the Nations Cup of Aachen. Following these successes, Conrad was sold to Quentin Judge who also clocked fantastic results with Conrad. The duo excelled in the 5* Grand Prix of Wellington as well as Spruce Meadows. Now that HH Conrad Z has started his new career as a stallion, the products from his first crops at Haras de Hus are showing off their performances. Chippendel de la Tour, Claptonn Mouche, Anibale de Hus, Blueberry, Caroline du Vallet, Chabada des Kinous, … HH Conrad’s list of 1.60m offspring is impressive! All of them standing out for their capacity, balance and rideability!
