HH Copin van de Broy, son of the legendary Darco, was purchased in 2013 for Quentin from rider Markus Enhing. “Moppy” had jumped in multiple Nations Cup classes for Belgium and Germany along with 5* grands prix and multiple World Cup Finals. Always reliable in his performance, Moppy’s experience allowed Quentin to take a huge step forward in his career. Together, Moppy and Quentin placed top three in two 5* grands prix, including the Queen Elizabeth Cup at Spruce Meadows. The team was a part of the winning Nations Cup team at CSIO 5* Gijon and competed in the World Cup finals in Gothenburg, Sweden. Every person that worked with Moppy fell in love with his gentle nature, and he will always be one of Quentin’s greatest teachers.
