Purchased in Belgium in 2013, HH Dark de la Hart and Quentin clicked right away, forming an unmatched partnership in the ring and the barn. Dark and Quentin’s speciality was in the derby ring where Dark and Quentin won 2nd at the $210,000 Cenovus Energy Classic Derby and 1st at the $210,000 Nexen Cup Derby. In the grand prix ring, they won first place at the $40,000 Garden State Grand Prix, the Suncast 1.50 Classic CSIO4* Wellington, and the 1.50m Husky Energy Cup at CSI5* Spruce Meadows. The pair also helped the USA team win the Nations Cup in Bratislava, Slovakia. Dark’s feisty attitude, exhibited through his joyous bucking, made him a fan favorite. Currently, Dark is enjoying his well-earned retirement on Madden Mountain in Cazenovia, New York.
