HH Ashley was purchased for rider Rodrigo Pessoa from Jos Lansink in 2010. Ashley and Rodrigo had a great run of success, including wins in multiple grands prix and the World Cup Qualifier Prix de Penn National. McLain Ward took over the ride on Ashley, and they also had a great partnership with strong finishes in multiple grands prix and 1.50m classes. “Ginger Snap,” as she was called by one of her caretakers, Kate Forsen, was a spicy mare who liked to do things her own way, which made her a real competitor in the show ring. Ashley is currently breeding at the Overis stud farm in Belgium. Her first foal is four years old and already shows great promise!
