Carlos joined the stable in 2014, and Mclain Ward took over the reins. Together, they won FEI classes all over the world, from the grand prix at CSI4*-W Washington, D.C. to the CSI5* in Wellington. Known for his speed and carefulness, Carlos had a huge number of successes in speed and 1.50m classes, winning classes from Toronto to Aachen. At the last show of his career, Carlos won the 1.50m at CSI4*-W Washington, D.C., when Mclain decided it was a good time for a champion like Carlos to go out on top. Carlos is retired and now lives on Madden Mountain in Cazenovia, New York.
