Jashar was purchased from Claire Bronfman after the pair had gained international success. “Josh” became a faithful companion to Cayce, helping her step into international classes at a high level. Together, Cayce and Josh won the individual gold medal at the North American Young Rider’s Championships as well taking 1st place at the Junior Amateur Show Jumping Championship at Del Mar. They won top ribbons consistently in the 1.50 division around the country, including wins at the 1.50m Classic at the Wellington Equestrian Festival and the Saratoga Cup Grand Prix. Always the barn clown, Josh’s willingness to please and his quirky personality made him one of our all time favorite horses. Jashar lived out his retirement alongside his companion, Jerry, and passed away at 25.
