Born and raised in Chicago, Quentin established his deep love for horses as a young working student at local barns in the Chicagoland area. He knew from the age of thirteen that he wanted to pursue a career in show jumping and therefore sought out positions with the best professionals with which he had access. Throughout Quentin’s career, he has worked with a number of esteemed equestrians, including Missy Clark and John Brennan, Joe Fargis, Jack Stedding and Linda Andersani, and Margie Engle. All of these valuable learning experiences culminated with Quentin working for Jan Tops, Olympic gold medalist and Global Champions Tour founder, in the Netherlands for two years. Through this job, Quentin improved his skills as a horseman and learned how to manage, train, and compete show jumping horses at the highest level of the sport. In 2008, Quentin moved back to the United States and began working at Double H Farm where his own career as an athlete took off.

Quentin worked as a rider for Double H for many years before establishing the Double H Farm training operation in 2013. Quentin has worked to build a boutique training program for a small group of serious students. These students have been able to consistently jump at higher levels and achieve goals that they previously thought unattainable.

Though Quentin thoroughly enjoys coaching, he is still incredibly motivated in the pursuit of his own show jumping goals. While working under the tutelage of some of our sport’s greatest legends, Ian Millar and John and Beezie Madden, Quentin has collected an impressive list of results.

In his downtime, Quentin is a collector of band t-shirts and eye masks, and he works diligently on a running list of show names for Double H’s next champion. He also enjoys camping and fishing with his son, Rhodes and spending time in the barn with his daughter, June and her pony, Flash.
