Sands of time

Sands of Time was an incomparable horse in Cayce’s career. As a young Thoroughbred, “Jerry” was developed as a hunter by Debbie Kemp in Minnesota. He was sold to Ellen Van Dike who showed him to great success in the amateur-owner division. Jerry was purchased for Cayce under the advice of Alex Jayne. Together, Cayce and Jerry won countless championships in the small junior hunters at the nation’s biggest shows. Jerry was crowned the USEF Horse of the Year in the small junior hunter division and gave Cayce her first taste of real success. Jerry lived out his days retired with his best friend, Josh, and passed away in his late twenties.
