Whisky joined the team when purchased in Belgium from his breeders, the Luyten family. Whisky was always a unique horse and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Originally purchased as a six-year-old with the thought that he would develop into a good amateur jumper, Whisky continued to improve and develop more scope. With Quentin in the saddle, Whisky jumped successfully at the top level of the sport. He competed in numerous 5* grands prix, including their win at the 1.55m CSIO5* Spruce Meadows, and they were members of the United States Nation’s Cup team at the CSIO 5* Spruce Meadows Masters. Whisky was always at home in speed classes despite his large size. He is currently enjoying his retirement on Madden Mountain in Cazenovia, New York.
